Taylor Park Reservoir, created by the Taylor Park Dam, is a hotspot for fly and boat fishermen alike. Brook Trout, Rainbow and Cutthroat Trout can all be found in these waters, in addition to deep cold-water species such as Mackinaw, Northern Pike and of course, Kokanee, ranging up to 20" in length. Boating is a favorite pastime as well and if you're an enthusiast, you'll find incredible scenery and placid waters to whittle away the stresses of a bustling world. Taylor River offers rafting and kayaking on waters ranging from Class II to Class IV with some technical waters to navigate for those willing.
