Westcliffe, Colorado Hiking, Walking, Jogging, Mountain & Rock Climbing

For those who indulge in serious hiking, there is nothing on earth that compares to steeling yourself against the raw elements of nature. Especially at say, up to 14,000 feet.

Westcliffe has the hiking trails that will bring you there. The Comanche Lake trail leads you to a high alpine lake and give you access to Comanche Peak, Middle Fork of North Crestone Creek, and Venable-Comanche Loop. Or challenge yourself on the Dry Creek trail, up a narrow valley to high lakes and incredible scenery. The Goodwin Lakes trail as well takes you to 3 alpine lakes, though this is a trail frequented far less than its companions. All these trails measure less than 10 miles.

Below you’ll find listings for guides in the wild, as well as articles to gather as much information as you’ll need to explore the Rocky Mountains on foot.
