15870 Co Rd 162, Mount Princeton Hot Springs Pavilion, Nathrop, CO. 81236
We invite you to attend the 2017 Chaffee County Habitat for Humanity Mac & Cheese Bake-Off/Silent Auction fundraiser event presented by the Farm at Buena Vista/Century 21 on July 27th from 5:00-7:00PM. As in previous years, Mount Princeton Hot Springs Resort has generously donated the use of their amazing pavilion. All proceeds from this event will benefit Chaffee County Habitat for Humanity’s mission of building homes, communities, and hope.
We’re extremely excited to announce that we will have live entertainment this year! Salida based performers Susan & Bill Roser are “Bent Roses.” They’ve been performing for decades and have a finely-honed ability to get their audience involved with the show. Their repertoire includes a wide variety of hits and standards from every decade between the 1920’s and the 2010’s from The Beatles and Gershwin to Green Day and Miranda Lambert. You can call it “Americana,” but the genres include pop, rock, country, ballads, standards, and their own original songs.
Individuals, church groups, businesses, and restaurants will supply their best macaroni and cheese recipes. Attendees will then vote on their favorite dishes. Salad and dessert will be provided and a cash bar will also be available. In addition to the Bake-Off, we will also have a silent auction sponsored by donations from local businesses. Prizes will be awarded for the winning recipe in both the Individual Category and Restaurant Category.
Adult tickets for the event are $10.00 if purchased in advance, and $15.00 at the door; tickets for children ages 12 and under are $5.00. Entry is free for all bakers. Silent auction winners, as well as the winners of the individual and restaurant categories for the 2017 Mac & Cheese Bake-Off, will be announced at 7 PM.
