Leo Accaira is owner and CEO of Colorado Central Sound providing sound accompaniment for concerts and musical events for over ten years. He has worked with Gold Rush Days for the past 8 years working with all the entertainers in setup and sound presentation. Leo has grown a reputation throughout the years and the entertainers all praise him. |

Singing Duo | |
Rod Guinn and Gene Farrar have been playing together since 2005 but have been musicians for over 50 years. Both Rod and Gene sing and play acoustic guitar with a repertoire that spans Opera to Opry, including classic rock, folk, country and acoustic blues. They frequently perform weekends at Snowy Rod Guinn, an Oklahoma native, has been an active musician for over 50 years. Rod has a BA in Music Education and Masters from Central State University in Oklahoma. Gene Farrar is a native Texan although he has been a resident in Colorado for 30 years. He has been a musician for over 50 years. Gene is a self taught guitar player. |

JHawks | |
The duo called J-Hawk plays a combination of Americana, Folk and Country music. Jim Hakanson of Cedaredge, Colorado loves to make music. He is a long time friend of Buena Vista’s Cowboy Poet, Marvin Hass. They have been writing songs together for several years and some are included on the Hakanson’s newly completed CD and will be performed at Gold Rush Days. His sidekick, Gerry Lell, of California Mesa, Colorado has been a musician and educator for over thirty years. He has also been active in public radio. This is the first year at Gold Rush Days for J Hawk. |

Yampa Boys | |
Steve Jones and John Fisher are now in their seventh John plays banjo, mandolin, dobro and assorted instruments. Steve plays guitar and sings many of the lead parts. The Boys have four CD albums, one of which charted nationally. They have performed at many cowboy poetry gatherings, county fairs, and other public and private events. It is a fun show designed for audiences of all ages. |

Chuck Pyle | |
Chuck Pyle has won high praise from both fans and peers alike throughout an inspired performance career of over 40 years. An accomplished songwriter, Chuck's songs have been recorded by John Denver, The Nitty Gritty Dirt Band and Suzy Bogguss. Country fans know him best for writing, "Cadilla While fans love his recordings, they adore Chuck's live performance. The first time he made an audience laugh, he was "hooked". A nimble guitarist, critics say his sense of rhythm is more like a fine classical, or jazz, soloist, his songwriting musically sophisticated yet full of uncluttered space. Chuck Pyle came from Iowa in 1965 when, "Boulder was mostly gravel streets", and resides on the front range of Colorado. He does 100 dates a year all across the country, playing festivals and theaters, coffeehouses and house concerts. An excellent recording artist, he has just released his 10th CD, Higher Ground ‑ Songs of Colorado. |

Mike and Perry are both well-known in the community as a spiritual leaders. The past two years, they have conducted an inspirational worship service with a message and music.
Carole and Randy Barnes Randy plays the dolcimer and Carole plays the guitar. They sing beautifully together which make the service very special. Please join us for Sunday Worship in the Tent |

American and Celtic music
They have made Buena Vista their home for the past 27 years and are well known here for their lively and enchanting music. Randy plays the dulcimer, concertina, guitar, Irish drums and even spoons. Carole accompanies him on the guitar. The instrumental and vocal selections range from the sweetest of Irish airs to bouncy jigs and reels. Cowboy ballads, Christian/Gospel hymns and original melodies are part of their mix. They spend much of their summer entertaining at local events and around the state. |

Leon Littlebird | |
Is a third generation native of Colorado with roots in both Pioneer and Native American Flute music has a long tradition of being romantic, stimulating and peaceful. Leon’s melodic flute music is popular in clubs, concerts, wedding and special events. In his performances Leon will often play several instruments including 6-string and 12-string guitars, mandolin, keyboard, harmonica and the Native American flutes. His warm and powerful vocal talent combined with the musical instruments draws the audience closer to the type of music he plays. He was voted “Best Entertainer” in Summit County Colorado in 2006. |

Joyce & Lloyd Woods, have been performing music for over twenty years. One of their objectives, when performing, is to preserve and pass on to future generations their love for this type of music. They performance consists of a lively and fun filled event of olde-tyme satisfying music and comedy featuring folk, Irish, mountain, and gospel acoustic music. During the summer, they play around Buena Vista often and are very popular. |
