Welcome to Moffat.

Thirty-seven miles north out of Alamosa on Hwy 17 you'll come across the quaint little village of Moffat. Originally part of the mining and supply rush that hit Colorado with force, Moffat settled into a life of agricultural and ranching bliss that still exists today. A few of the original historic buildings still stand and have been restored, including the post office, town hall and trading post. Though not trying to keep pace with such tourist traps as Vail or Aspen, Moffat offers a peek into days gone by and an opportunity to hang your hat up for a day and soak in the spectacular sunset.
