Salida Riverside Fine Arts Festival

Salida’s annual premier art and music event of juried, fine national artists with booths of jewelry, ceramics, photography, wearable art, mixed media, wood and metal and more. This year’s music stage features Wounded Warrior Music Band with bassist Jac Mihanovic who has performed and recorded with Taj Mahal, Ray Charles, Steve Vai, Tower of Power and more, and brings on the Motown Rock and Soul Revue with Paula Compton – think Janis Joplin vocals. Milo Hayes Meld with a jazz, funk, bluegrass, R&B throw down, Denver’s Ponder The Albatross (celtic bluegrass/experimental) and Band on the Fence, local act Ceruleus, Doc & Kit, Clyde Tullis, and more. Creative Station For All Ages, face painting, delicious foods by local favorite Phat Fahita, and Big Daddy Dogs. Bring the family and enjoy the park with playground, sandy river beaches and fishing on the banks of the Arkansas River in downtown Salida at Riverside Park at F St.and Sackett, a short walk to Historic District pubs, galleries and boutiques.
