For a town of its size, Trinidad has an amazing amount of green parks and open space. Come and enjoy the Riverwalk that meanders beside the Purgatoire River for 3.5 miles, play a round of golf, visit the Cimino Downtown Park with the kids and while they play in the state of the art grounds complete with fountain, play yourself a game of bocce ball in the lighted court. This is one of the popular places in the state for disc golf as well, featuring a full course for those who love to play.
The skatepark in town is rated #9 in the world by Tony Hawk, and the town is one of the few who still play host to a roller rink. Add to that fishing, camping, boating on the nearby lakes, 2 historical scenic byways and winter activities that will have you spinning, and you might have to extend your stay in Trinidad to do it all.
