Autumn in Aspen is truly something to behold. With the Independence Pass boasting an altitude of nearly 14,000 feet, this is the highest pass you can drive up to this altitude. Note that Independence Pass is closed during winter months, so to see this wonder you'll be making a spring, summer or fall trip.
